Life

Our internet has been out for awhile. I'll update you with pictures...

Parker's favorite thing is to play "night night" with Abigail.

I made my first cake with fondant icing for Eric's party. It looked great, but didn't taste very well. Let me know if you have any tricks for making that icing taste good.

Who's enjoying the baby toys?

My little blue-eyed baby.

Your kids get cuter each time you post pictures. I'm sure your cake was great.

The cake looks great! I've never used fondant, so I'm afraid I can't help you there. I think Abigail looks so much like you, with those beautiful big blue eyes. Love the photo of them playing night together. Precious!

I am impressed with your cake baking abilities!!! It was so great to see you on the Fourth. It is nice to have friends where you can just immediately feel comfortable, no matter how long it's been. Love ya!

Okay, so fondant is made to be pretty... not yummy, that's why when it's on wedding cakes and stuff, they usually peel it off before they actually serve the cake. I do have a few recipies for "fake" fondant that it ends up looking like fondant, but tastes much better! Email me sometime and I'll get that stuff to you... Other than that, your cake looked great! And your kids are so adorable!!!

Ditto on the fondant...it doesn't taste good and you peel it off. It's just fun to play with and makes the cake pretty. Love the dots on the cake!!!
